The heart of the park is formed of Finland's southernmost fell chain, which is 35 kilometers long. it consists of the remains of one of world's oldest mountain ranges, which was born over 2000 million years ago. Pyhä-Luosto National Park has over 150 kilometers of marked trails. Hiking gives you a nice overview of Lapland's nature. The best place to start your trip is the Pyhätunturi Visitor and Culture Centre Naava. Pyhä-Luosto Nordic Fitness Sports Parkin-trails are also a good way get to know the park.
